Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Jessie has always loved live theatre, from a very young age her parents would bring her to plays and operas and she was fascinated by every detail that went into every production which inspired her to pursue her career in theatre. 

Jessie studied at Dalhousie University from 2022-2026 and is a soon-to-be honours graduate from the Fountain School of Performing Arts (FSPA) Technical Theatre & Stagecraft program (2026). 

Jessie has worked in many roles in FSPA productions, as a Stage Manager, Assistant Stage Manager, Prop Builder, Lighting Technician, Scenic Painter & Scenic Carpenter, working and adapting every show to best collaborate with the crews and production teams. 

Jessie has also participated in an apprenticeship (2025) at Neptune Theatre as the Apprentice Stage Manager for The Wizard of Oz.
