Personal statement:
I will never stop being amazed by theatre in all its forms, I feel so welcomed and comfortable in the theatre community that ever since working on my first show I wanted my career path to have everything to do with theatre.
Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Jessie has always loved live theatre, from a very young age her parents would bring her to plays, Cirque du Solei, and opera performances and she was fascinated by all the detail that went into every production which inspired her to pursue her career in theatre.
Jessie has been studying at Dalhousie University since 2022 and is a soon-to-be graduate (2026) from the Fountain School of Performing Arts (FSPA) with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Stage Design and Technical Theatre.
Jessie has worked in many roles in FSPA productions, as a Stage Manager, Assistant Stage Manager, Prop Builder, Lighting Technician, Scenic Painter & Scenic Carpenter, working and adapting every show to best collaborate with the crews and production teams.
Jessie has also participated in an apprenticeship (2025) at Neptune Theatre as the Apprentice Stage Manager for The Wizard of Oz.
